Licensed Customs Broker – Sydney

100% Remote Fully Remote | 1–5+ Years Licensed Experience | Established Freight Forwarder

Are you a Licensed Customs Broker looking for genuine flexibility and the prospect to work 100% remotely?

We are partnering with an established freight forwarding and logistics business looking to add a Licensed Customs Broker to their Sydney team. Whether you've been licensed for 1–5 years or have significantly more experience, we're keen to hear from brokers at different stages of their career.

The Role You'll manage customs clearances across a varied portfolio of clients and commodities, working closely with an experienced customs and operations team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing, reviewing and lodging import declarations
- Tariff classification and valuation
- Providing advice on customs legislation, duty, GST and concessions
- Managing customs clearance and compliance matters
- Liaising with Australian Border Force, DAFF and other regulatory bodies
- Supporting clients with technical customs queries
- Maintaining accurate records and regulatory compliance
- Working closely with freight forwarding and operations teams

About You We're looking for:





- A current Australian Customs Broker Licence
- Ideally 1–5+ years' experience as a Licensed Customs Broker
- Brokers with significantly more experience are equally encouraged to apply
- Experience within freight forwarding, customs or international logistics
- Strong knowledge of Australian customs legislation and compliance
- Good tariff classification and valuation knowledge
- Strong communication and client service skills
- The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
