1. Role Details: Data Analyst
2. Contract Duration: 06 months + possible extension
3. Work Location: Melbourne (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)
4. Eligibility: Full working Rights

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Extract and profile data from multiple source systems to support analysis, reporting and data quality assessment.
- Design, build and maintain ETL processes to move, cleanse and transform data into data warehouse environments.
- Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and analysis.
- Develop reports, dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights clearly to business stakeholders.
- Support data warehousing activities, including data modelling and maintaining warehouse structures.
- Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across source systems and reporting outputs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions.
- Use Python for data manipulation, automation and analysis where required (desirable).

Mandatory Skills & Experience:




- 5+ years' experience in Data Analytics / Data Management roles.
- SQL: robust hands-on experience writing and optimising queries.
- Data extraction and profiling: sourcing, assessing and understanding data across systems.
- ETL: designing and maintaining extract, transform and load processes.
- Reporting and visualisation: building reports and dashboards to communicate insight.
- Data warehousing: working with warehouse structures and data models.

Desirable

- Python: for data manipulation, automation and analysis.
- Industry experience: background in financial services.
