We’re looking for a reliable, technically minded, and detail-oriented Data Centre Operations Technician to support infrastructure operations, equipment monitoring, hardware activities, and technical troubleshooting. ?

? THE ROLEAs a Data Centre Operations Technician, you’ll support day-to-day infrastructure operations, monitor systems and equipment, assist with hardware activities, and help maintain reliable data-centre environments.

? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES✅ Monitor data-centre systems, equipment, and operational alerts

✅ Assist with server, network, and rack equipment activities

✅ Perform basic hardware installation and replacement tasks

✅ Troubleshoot basic hardware and connectivity issues

✅ Conduct routine equipment inspections and operational checks

✅ Record incidents, maintenance activities, and equipment changes

✅ Maintain accurate technical documentation and records

✅ Assist with asset tracking and inventory management

✅ Escalate complex technical issues to senior infrastructure teams

✅ Follow operational procedures,



safety requirements, and checklists

✅ Support incident-response and business-continuity activities

✅ Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and IT support teams

? REQUIREMENTS✔️ Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field preferred

✔️ Basic understanding of servers, networking, hardware, and operating systems

✔️ Familiarity with data-centre or IT infrastructure concepts is an advantage

✔️ Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

✔️ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures

✔️ Comfortable working with technical documentation and ticketing systems

✔️ Good communication and teamwork skills

✔️ Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
