This is an exciting opportunity to join Billabong Kids Central Woolgoolga as an Early Childhood Educator. Working on a part-time, full-time, or casual basis, you will play a crucial role in providing quality early childhood education and care to children in our vibrant and nurturing centre.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes the wellbeing of all children
- Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your practice
- Assist in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups
- Record observations of individual children or groups for program planning purposes for qualified staff
About you
- Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards these qualifications)
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check
- Have completed the mandatory Child Safe Training via Gecko
- Are reliable, skilled and willing to contribute to the centre
- Can work collaboratively and positively as part of a team
- Are passionate about providing high quality care and education for children and their families
- Build warm and respectful relationships with children and families
