About the Opportunities

Our upcoming projects will focus on large-scale data transformation and migration initiatives involving enterprise data platforms, cloud migrations, application modernisation programs, and data warehouse implementations.

Successful candidates will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, quality, accuracy, and completeness throughout the testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive data testing strategies and test plans.
- Validate ETL processes developed using IBM DataStage and other data integration tools.
- Perform data migration testing, including source-to-target validation and reconciliation activities.
- Conduct data quality testing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of migrated data.
- Execute database testing using SQL queries and data validation techniques.
- Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test evidence.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and migration cutover activities.
- Identify, analyse, track, and manage defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers,



developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Support data profiling, data mapping, and transformation validation activities.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Data Tester in complex enterprise environments.
- Robust hands-on experience with IBM DataStage.
- Extensive experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.
- Demonstrated experience validating large-scale data migration projects.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries for data validation and analysis.
- Experience performing:
- Source-to-target validation
- Data reconciliation
- Data integrity testing
- Data quality testing
- Regression testing
- End-to-end data validation

- Experience working with relational databases and large datasets.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.

Desirable Experience

- Cloud migration programs (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Data warehouse modernisation projects.
- IBM Infosphere suite.
- Test automation for data validation.
- Financial Services, Government, Utilities, Telecommunications, or Healthcare sector experience.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar tools.
