We're seeking an experienced Data Migration Consultant to lead a high-profile migration from RecFind to Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online & Teams) within a dynamic local government environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on consultant who can work autonomously, engage with key stakeholders, and deliver a seamless migration of records and information assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute the migration of records and data from RecFind to Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online/Teams) .
- Assess the current RecFind environment, including data structure, quality, and system dependencies.
- Define migration strategy, architecture, data mappings, validation processes, and migration sequencing.
- Perform migration activities, testing, reconciliation, remediation, and cutover planning.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop migration documentation, knowledge transfer materials, and operational handover artefacts.
- Provide expert guidance on records management and information governance best practices.

Essential Skills & Experience





- Proven experience delivering data migration projects .
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 , including SharePoint Online and Teams .
- Experience with Records Management Systems (EDRMS) and information governance frameworks.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working independently in complex project environments.

Highly Desirable

- Hands-on RecFind migration experience.
- Expertise in Records Management and Information Governance .
- Experience with Azure services.
- Local Government or Regional Council experience.
- Change Management and stakeholder engagement experience.
