Why This Role Is Different

As a Data Consultant at Ignite, you’ll work across the end-to-end data lifecycle – requirements, designing, building, and deploying data solutions that solve real-world problems. Depending on your strengths, you may focus on cloud engineering, machine learning, or business intelligence. Everyone collaborates closely with stakeholders, contributing to high-quality, client-ready outcomes.

You’ll work with leading tools and technologies like:

- Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake
- Python, SQL, DBT, Docker, GitHub, Terraform, Pulumi
- Power BI, Tableau

And you’ll be part of a team-oriented, multi-disciplinary team focused on the energy industry, with opportunities to work in agriculture, and logistics. Working with large enterprise clients to exciting scale-ups

What You’ll Do

- Translate client needs into technical solutions across BI, AI/ML, and data engineering
- Design and implement cloud-native data platforms and analytics pipelines
- Deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions using modern toolsets
- Apply data visualisation and storytelling to support client decision-making
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders using Agile delivery practices

What You Bring

- 3 years experience with Databricks




- Solid skills in Databricks capabiities
- Data warehouse and Data modelling experience
- Experience in end-to-end delivery, from requirements to production
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in deployments to Production

What will give you an edge

- Energy or Utilities industry experience
- Consulting experience
- Certifications (Databricks Pro)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or Pulumi)
