We are partnering with a fantastic and supportive organisation who are seeking a Dayforce Technical Consultant. You will apply your expertise to lead payroll/WFM/HCM transformation initiatives, working closely with clients and stakeholders to refine processes, ensure compliance, and drive operational efficiencies. You will be a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and delivering high quality outcomes that align with best practice and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead WFM, Payroll &
- HCM Implementations
- Lead end-to-end implementations, upgrades and transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions align with client needs, business objectives and industry best practice.
- Requirements &
- Solution Design
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder consultations to identify business needs, pain points and translate requirements into practical WFM, payroll and HCM solutions.
- Process Improvement &
- Optimisation
- Review and optimise rostering, scheduling, time and attendance, payroll and workforce processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, compliance and employee experience.
- System Configuration &
- Functional Support
- Provide functional expertise throughout configuration and solution development, ensuring solutions meet agreed business and operational requirements.
- Testing &
- UAT
- Develop and execute test scenarios,
functional testing and UAT, supporting issue identification, prioritisation and resolution ahead of deployment.
- Data Validation &
- Payroll Assurance
- Conduct data validation, payroll reconciliation and parallel-pay analysis to confirm data integrity, calculation accuracy and go-live readiness.
- Compliance &
- Best-Practice Advisory
- Provide guidance on payroll and workforce practices, supporting alignment with legislation, industrial instruments, policies and governance requirements.
- Stakeholder &
- Vendor Management
- Collaborate with clients, vendors and project teams to manage dependencies, resolve challenges and deliver successful outcomes.
- Training &
- Go-Live Support
- Deliver training, knowledge transfer and documentation, with hands-on support through implementation, go-live and stabilisation.
- Client Advisory &
- Delivery Excellence
- Act as a trusted advisor, proactively managing risks, opportunities and deliverables while consistently delivering high-quality client outcomes.
Experience
- 5 years’ experience in workforce management, time & attendance, or payroll operations
- Experience configuring or implementing WFM platforms such as Dayforce, or equivalent
- Deep understanding of contemporary awards, EBAs, and Australia and New Zealand pay conditions
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end system delivery, from discovery to post-go-live support
