This position requires an experienced dental assistant to work around two days a week in a specialist periodontal practice operating from Beenleigh (main practice) and Cleveland (once a week only). The successful staff would be required to work in both locations.
Dental students (or ADC students) are also welcome to apply.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications The clinical application will be judged on the following criteria:
- clinical chair-side experience
- detailed knowledge of infection control
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- willingness to learn new things
- good competence to work in paperless setting (using computers)
Job Type and Category Pay scale as per the ADA rates.
The rate will also include 25% leave loading as a casual staff.

Perio'Plant is a specialist periodontal practice treating patients only in the area of periodontics and surgical placement of dental implants. It works from Beenleigh (around three days) and Cleveland (one day a week) with operation during regular office hours from Monday to Friday. No weekend work or late nights are involved. The practice has a common team of staff working at both locations.
