Join Our Growing Practice

Dr Tom Giblin and Associates is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly and growing team in Frenchs Forest.

The position will initially be casual, working Mondays and Tuesdays for approximately 16 hours per week. As the practice grows, there may be opportunities for additional days and, if desired, progression into a permanent part-time or full-time role. We’re also happy for the position to remain casual and are open to creating a flexible arrangement that works well for both you and the practice.

About the Practice

Dr Tom Giblin and Associates brings together the Centre for Implant and Restorative Dentistry, Northern Dental Group and Sydney Dental Academy in a new, purpose-built facility in Frenchs Forest.

Our practice combines specialist and general dentistry, advanced dental education and an onsite dental laboratory under one roof. You will work alongside experienced dentists, specialists, educators and dental technicians in a professional, supportive and collaborative environment.About the Role

You will help us provide a calm, professional and welcoming experience for our patients while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include

- Greeting and supporting patients throughout their appointments
- Chairside assisting across general and specialist procedures
- Assisting with implants, oral surgery, prosthodontics and complex restorative cases
- Supporting treatment planning and patient communication
- Dictating patient notes and correspondence
- Maintaining high infection-control standards
- Working closely with the wider clinical and administrative team

- Have previous dental assisting experience

- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Provide a high standard of patient care and customer service
- Have a confident and friendly telephone manner
- Are comfortable using computers and practice-management software
- Enjoy working as part of a busy, supportive team
- Are motivated to continue learning and developing professionally

Experience in implants, oral surgery, prosthodontics or specialist dentistry will be highly regarded. A Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred. Why Join Us?

Pay: $32–$42 per hour, based on experience

Pay: $52,880.00 – $91,562.62 per year
