I’m looking for the right person to join a growing field service business servicing the quarry, asphalt and farming industries throughout the Clarence Valley and surrounding areas.
The majority of work is based at a large quarry operation at Jackadgery, maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment including:
- Crushing and screening plants
- Excavators and loaders
- Dump trucks and dozers
- Pumps and conveyors
- General fixed and mobile plant
This is not a workshop job.
You’ll be working outdoors in the dust, mud, heat, cold and rain. Some days you’ll be covered in grease by 8am. Some jobs are physically demanding. Some jobs are technically challenging. Every day is different.
The position will initially be casual with up to 5 full days per week available. For the right person, there is the opportunity to move into a permanent full-time role.

Qualifications and experience are valuable, but attitude is everything.
You must be
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work safely in a high-risk environment
- Willing to listen,
learn and retain information
- Comfortable working unsupervised when required
- Physically capable of demanding work
- Mechanically minded
- Able to take direction and constructive criticism
This role is not suited to someone looking for an easy day, constant supervision or a place to hide.
I run a small business and maintain high standards. I’ll invest time into teaching the right person, but I expect effort, accountability and a willingness to improve.
