TRS Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic for a permanent opportunity with an established business operating within the heavy equipment sector.

This position would suit a qualified mechanic looking for variety across workshop and field-based work, maintaining and repairing a range of earthmoving and mobile plant equipment.

The role offers long-term stability, overtime opportunities and the chance to work independently while being supported by an experienced technical team.

The Role Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Servicing and repairing earthmoving and mobile plant equipment
- Mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
- Hydraulic and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Engine, transmission and component repairs
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Equipment inspections and fault identification
- Attending breakdowns and onsite repairs when required
- Completing workshop and field service duties
- Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship

About You We are looking for someone with:
- Australian-recognised Mobile Plant Technology qualifications
- Previous experience working with heavy equipment, earthmoving or mobile plant
- Robust mechanical and hydraulic knowledge




- Confident diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Ability to work independently when required
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Full Australian working rights

Additional licences and experience across field service, fabrication or welding will be well regarded but are not essential. What's On Offer?
