Mobile Plant Mechanic | $55/hr + Vehicle + OT | Penrith

$55 per hour + Company Vehicle + Overtime at 1.5x & 2x

Are you a qualified Plant Mechanic looking for a field-based role with a modern fleet, variety of equipment and plenty of overtime?

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic / Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established and growing national plant hire company based in Sydney.

You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of heavy plant and civil equipment, working both in the field and across customer and project sites.

What you'll be doing

- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy plant and civil equipment
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Attending breakdowns and completing on-site repairs




- Conducting inspections and pre-hire checks
- Completing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Ordering parts and liaising with the service team
- Completing service reports and job documentation

What we're looking for

- Trade qualified Plant Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Fitter or similar
- Experience working on heavy plant, earthmoving or civil equipment
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic skills
- Electrical fault-finding experience highly regarded
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Ability to work independently in a field service setting
- Welding and fabrication experience desirable
