Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking to positively impact someone’s life? We’re currently seeking dedicated female Disability Support Workers to join our experienced and supportive team, delivering 24/7 care in a participant’s home.
Proposed Roster Structure:
- Morning: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Morning: 7:00 AM - 1330 PM
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Evening & Passive Sleepover: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
This position involves a rotating roster covering weekdays, weekends, and passive overnight shifts (with wake up calls).
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and hygiene support
- Assisting with domestic tasks to maintain a secure, clean home environment
- Supporting social and community participation
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutritional needs
- Assisting with mobility (Sara Steady transfers)
- Medication administration support
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III or CIV in Disability or equivalent
- Current First Aid & CPR within last 12 months (HLTAID011 or HLTAID003)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Paid
- NDIS Orientation Module Certificate
- National Police Check within last 12 months
- Minimum 12 months of direct or lived experience in disability support
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Full rights to work in Australia
