We're looking for a caring, playful and committed female Support Worker to join our team supporting our wonderful 11-year-old daughter, L.

L. is imaginative, funny, curious and has the most infectious laugh. She loves dogs, cars, people and imaginative play, and thrives with people who genuinely enjoy connecting with her and seeing the world through her eyes.

This role is much more than providing support with daily tasks. It's about building a meaningful relationship, helping L. communicate, explore her interests, develop independence, and experience a life filled with connection, choice and belonging.

Shifts Available

- Mondays 1:15-5:15pm, Tuesdays 7:30-9:30am, Thursdays 7:15-9:45am, Saturdays 12-4pm
- Must be available for at least 2 shifts per week
- Additional hours available during school holidays and leave cover
- Potential sleepover shifts once a strong relationship has been established

Essential Requirements

- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Valid Australian driver's licence

· Safe, confident and reliable driver
- Legal working rights in Australia

Desirable but not essential:

- Experience supporting children or people with complex support needs
- Knowledge of Key Word Sign and/or Auslan
- Experience with emotional regulation or Positive Behaviour Support approaches

The right values and willingness to learn are more important to us than previous disability experience. We are happy to provide training and ongoing support for the right person.
