Ilonka Foods is looking for two to three reliable and physically fit team members to join our Bentley facility.

These are varied, hands-on roles. You may work in dispatch, food processing, packing, goods receiving or other areas of the business as requirements come up.

We need people who are flexible, willing to learn and comfortable moving between departments. While dispatch will be a key part of the role, you must also be happy to assist with food processing and general production work.

Confident in your abilities without being overconfident, able to take instruction, accept feedback, use initiative and take ownership of your work and assigned area.

About the Role

Depending on the needs of the business, you may be rostered in dispatch, processing, packing, goods receiving or another production area.

When working in dispatch, you will prepare customer orders and work alongside our drivers to make sure everything is picked, packed, checked and loaded correctly each morning.

When working in processing, you will assist with preparing, producing, portioning and packing our meat products and ready-made meals.

You may move between departments during a shift as priorities change. This means you need to be adaptable, take direction well and be willing to help wherever the workload requires you.

Duties May Include





- Picking customer orders accurately from pick slips or electronic orders

- Packing, labelling and checking products before dispatch

- Checking product quantities, dates and order details

- Organising orders by customer and delivery run

- Working with drivers to load vehicles safely and in the correct order

- Preparing dispatch paperwork and recording completed orders

- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming goods

- Rotating stock and following FIFO procedures

- Moving stock using a forklift or pallet-moving equipment

- Handling, preparing and packing meat and food products

- Assisting with sausage and meatball production

- Weighing, portioning, sealing and labelling finished products

- Using knives and production equipment safely

- Moving ingredients, packaging and completed products

- Cleaning work areas and equipment

- Following all food-safety, hygiene and workplace-safety procedures

- Assisting in different parts of the business as requirements come up

About You

We are looking for people who are dependable, practical and willing to get involved.

You will need

- Experience in dispatch, warehousing, picking and packing, food processing or production.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete orders and tasks accurately.

- Physically fit and comfortable lifting boxes,



handling meat and working with chilled products.

- Reliable, punctual and ready to work at the scheduled start time, including early starts.

- Able to follow instructions, accept feedback and work respectfully with others.

- Confident in your abilities without being overconfident, with the initiative to work independently when required.

- Takes ownership of your work and keeps your assigned area clean, organised and running efficiently.

- Flexible and willing to move between dispatch, processing and other areas as business needs change.

- Able to maintain a steady pace in a busy workplace while supporting the wider team.

- Forklift experience, basic computer skills and knife skills are highly regarded, but training can be provided.

Early starts may be required when working in dispatch, as customer orders must be ready before our drivers leave for their delivery runs.
