About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and conscientious Dispensary Technician to join the team at TERRYWHITE CHEMMART LAVINGTON in Lavington, NSW. This is a part-time position offering flexibility whilst maintaining the high standards of pharmaceutical care our customers deserve. As a Dispensary Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy operations, working alongside the pharmacist to ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications.

Your contribution will be fundamental to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the integrity of our pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medicines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to pharmaceutical standards
- Managing prescription processing, including data entry, labelling, and organisation of medication orders
- Providing professional and courteous customer service, answering queries regarding medications and pharmacy services
- Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical legislation, regulations, and company policies
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe pharmacy environment

What we're looking for

- A relevant qualification or certification as a Dispensary Technician (or equivalent experience recognised in the pharmacy sector)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling medications and processing prescriptions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Proficiency with pharmacy systems and computer applications
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical products, their uses, and standard dispensing practices
- Clear communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
- Reliability and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy




- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and follow pharmacist direction
