Norrish Earthmoving Repairs is a family owned and operated business that focuses on quality, integrity, safety, performance and excellence. We are seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to carry out repairs, servicing and diagnostics on a range of drilling equipment. This position would suit a tradesperson who takes pride in quality work, protected practices, and reliable performance.
About the Role:
- Maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds on drill rigs and associated components
- Fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Scheduled servicing and breakdown support
- Accurate completion of job cards and service documentation
- Working both independently and within a small, supportive team
Candidate Requirements:
- Trade qualification: Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Fitter
- Demonstrated experience with drill rigs (Sandvik, Atlas Copco, Epiroc or similar)
- Strong hydraulic systems knowledge
- Safe work mindset and high attention to detail
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
- Previous mining or earthmoving maintenance experience (desirable)
- HR licence, forklift ticket,
or relevant high-risk licences (desirable)
- Self-motivated problem solver with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work safely, independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.
