Creative Minds Early Years Pty Ltd is a licensed early childhood education and care provider committed to delivering high quality education and care for children in a protected, nurturing and inclusive environment. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Childcare educator to join our growing team.

Creative Minds Early Years is a 33 place centre located in Colac, South West Victoria. We are seeking a Childcare Educator for a full time permanent role.

Key Responsibilities.

- Provide high quality care and supervision for children in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs appropriate to children’s developmental needs.
- Promote children’s physical, emotional, social, wellbeing and intellectual development.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating learning environment.
- Observe children’s progress and communicate effectively with families regarding their development.
- Assist children with meals, hygiene, rest and daily routines.
- Work collaboratively with educators, families and management.
- Ensure compliance with the Education and Care services National Law and Regulations, workplace policies and child protection requirements.

Essential Requirements





- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- At least one year of relevant full time work experience as an Early Childhood Educator/Childcare educator.
- Current Working With Children Check ( or ability to obtain).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates ( or willingness to obtain before commencement)
- Have completed Mandatory Reporting – Protecting Children.
- Have current Foundations of Child Safety Training Course 1 and Course 2
- Have current Advance Child Safety Training Course 3 and Course 4.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
