About the Role

We are an emerging and fast-growing company engaged in industrial project development. As part of our continued expansion, we are developing major industrial projects in Australia requiring high-capacity electrical infrastructure.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – High Voltage & Substation Design to support the electrical design, technical development and engineering delivery of our industrial development projects.

This is a key technical role working closely with the Director, local Australian consultants, utilities, contractors and our cross-border technical teams to develop reliable and compliant high-voltage power infrastructure and substation solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead and coordinate the high-voltage electrical design for industrial property development projects

- Develop and review HV substation design, including transformer capacity, HV switchgear, protection systems, distribution networks and associated equipment

- Design and coordinate electrical infrastructure for high-load industrial developments

- Review electrical design drawings, specifications, calculations and technical proposals

- Coordinate with electricity network providers, Engineers of Record (EoR), consultants and contractors

- Assist with grid connection, power capacity assessment and utility coordination

- Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, NCC and network service provider requirements

- Review equipment selection, technical specifications and engineering solutions

- Provide technical support during procurement, construction,



testing and commissioning

- Conduct technical reviews and site inspections and assist with resolving engineering issues

- Prepare technical reports, project updates and presentations for the Director

- Coordinate with overseas engineering teams and communicate technical requirements in both English and Mandarin

What We're Looking For

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in high-voltage electrical engineering, electrical consulting, infrastructure or industrial development

- Proven experience in High Voltage Substation Design is essential

- Strong experience with HV/MV power distribution systems, substations, transformers, switchgear and protection systems

- Experience with electrical infrastructure for industrial, commercial, data centre, manufacturing or large-scale development projects

- Familiarity with Australian electrical standards and requirements, including relevant AS/NZS standards and electricity network requirements

- Experience coordinating with electricity distributors/network service providers, consultants and contractors

- Strong technical drawing,



engineering review and project coordination skills

- Excellent written and spoken Mandarin Chinese (普通话) and English is essential

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work independently and manage technical issues in a fast-paced development environment

- Australian professional engineering registration or CPEng / RPEQ / equivalent will be highly regarded
