About the role

BCMC Safety Solutions are an industry leader in the maintenance of Smoke Alarms and Electrical compliance checks in Victoria. An opportunity is available in the expanding team for an A Grade licenced Electrician, mainly based in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting Safety Checks on Rental properties

- Conducting Smoke Alarm compliance checks

- Use of ladders, cleaning, servicing and testing Electrical appliances

- Use of power tools for installing Smoke Alarms and sometimes wall plugs in concrete

- Installation, replacement and maintenance of 9v and 240v smoke alarms

- Installation, replacement and maintenance of standard switches, GPO's and RCDs

- Understand,



learn and interpret Victorian legislation in regards to Compliance of both Electrical and Smoke Alarms within Rental properties

- Monday to Friday work

About you

- Current A Grade Electrical licence

- Current Vic drivers licence with good record

- Current Police Check

- Current WWC check

- Based in Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne

- Accuracy entering data on iPhone

- Ability to work around other people including Children and Animals

- Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised

- Trustworthy, Honest and Reliable

- Good customer service skills
