Image Resources is a growing mineral sands producer and is currently operating a highly successful mine and processing facility at its 100%-owned, high-grade, zircon-rich flagship Atlas mineral sands project, located approximately 2.5 hours north of Perth near the picturesque towns of Jurien Bay and Cervantes in Western Australia.

The Role An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Electrician to join the team at our Atlas Mine Site. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation and maintenance of site-wide electrical systems, supporting the ongoing performance of the operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure all electrical work is carried out in compliance with statutory, regulatory and company standards.

- Install, commission and performance-test electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.

- Maximise equipment availability and performance through planned, unplanned and opportunistic maintenance activities.

- Work collaboratively with Processing and Maintenance teams to minimise downtime, breakdowns and production losses.

- Ensure the reliability and availability of all electrical assets across the operation.

- Contribute to the development, review and continuous improvement of electrical maintenance procedures and schedules.

- Supervise contractor activities as required to ensure agreed scopes of work are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.

- Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, workspace organisation and waste minimisation.

About you To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant electrical trade qualification, preferably with a demonstrated track record in mining related electrical work;





- HV Switching Ticket will be highly regarded.

- Cert IV in Instrumentation preferred but not essential.

- EWP Fork Lift and Working at Heights licenses highly regarded.

- LVR and CPR training preferred.

- Rigging and or Dogging qualifications highly regarded.

- Flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks within a small maintenance team.

- Strong sense of initiative, judgement and a degree of independence in identifying problems, finding solutions or preventative actions, and taking appropriate action to develop the capabilities, systems and performance of current mine production functions.

- Strong commitment to Environment, OH&S; and duty of care.

- You will have a positive and energetic style, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and.

- Current drivers’ licence.

What’s on Offer

- This will be a site-based DIDO role at the Atlas project in the Shire of Dandaragan, 2 ½ hours north of Perth and close to the coastal towns of Cervantes and Jurien Bay.

- The roster will be 8/6 staying in brand current camp accommodation facilities or live locally and commute from the Cervantes or Jurien Bay area each day.

- Candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria which includes a medical, drug and alcohol screening, hold a valid motor vehicle driver’s license and a valid National Police Clearance.
