Hasmot Pty Ltd The Electronic Equipment Trades Worker (Electronic Mirror Systems Technician) will be responsible for installing, testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electronic mirror systems and associated components. The role at Hasmot Pty Ltd involves fault-finding, component replacement, wiring and soldering repairs, calibration, commissioning and quality testing of motorised, heated and electronically controlled mirror products in accordance with technical specifications and company standards.

Growth opportunities and progression opportunities Task & responsibilities Examine, inspect and test electronic mirror systems, electrical assemblies, wiring harnesses and associated automotive electronic equipment to identify faults, defects and performance issues.

Assemble and install electronic mirror units, including heated mirrors, motorised mirror adjustment systems, smart mirror components, sensors and related electrical accessories in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards. Install and connect electrical wiring, connectors, switches, motors, heating elements and electronic control components used in mirror systems and related automotive products. Diagnose faults in electronic mirror assemblies, control systems and associated vehicle electrical circuits using multimeters, test equipment, wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications.

Adjust, repair and replace defective electronic components, wiring, connectors, switches, motors, circuit boards and mirror assemblies to restore proper operation. Reassemble repaired equipment and conduct operational,



electrical and quality assurance testing to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications. Perform soldering, wiring repairs and loom modifications where required to support the installation and maintenance of electronic mirror products and automotive accessories.

Conduct functional testing and calibration of electronic mirror products, including remote adjustment, heating, defrosting and other electronic functions prior to dispatch or installation. Inspect completed products and assemblies to verify compliance with quality control requirements, safety standards and customer specifications. Provide technical advice to customers and end users regarding the correct operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic mirror systems and related automotive electronic equipment.

Maintain service records, testing reports and production documentation, and comply with workplace health and safety and quality assurance procedures. Qualification &
