Haven Ultrasound is a Specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound service with three sites on the Gold Coast, Greenslopes and Auchenflower. About the role
We have a permanent part time position become available at our Parkwood clinic, this is a Midwife job share role working alongside and supporting our Ultrasound Specialist team.
You will be part of a progressive and supportive midwifery team, ensuring women receive exceptional care during their time at Haven Ultrasound.
Your role will see you counsel and care for women during miscarriage and unexpected findings alongside our Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists and sonographers.
You will be responsible for the ordering and the collection of pathology, as well as prescription of medicines within your scope of practice. Relay pathology results in a timely and skilled manner and assist MFM specialists in procedures and counselling.
Essential skills
- Have your midwifery endorsement, or working towards
- Have a minimum of 3 year’s midwifery experience
- Experience working autonomously within your scope of practice
- AHPRA midwifery registration
Desirable skills:
- Experience with miscarriage management
- Experience working within a Maternal Fetal Medicine model of care

- Proven ability in time management and multitasking and ability to balance workload to ensure timely patient care
