Overview:

This manager role sits within a specialist advisory and project development firm working across the energy transition in Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will lead workstreams combining commercial strategy, financial modelling and stakeholder engagement across climate infrastructure projects. It suits someone who wants a strategy or transaction background to translate directly into decarbonisation outcomes.

Responsibilities:

- Lead workstreams across strategy, financial modelling and due diligence for energy transition projects
- Build and stress test financial models to support investment or project finance decisions
- Support engagement with government and regulatory stakeholders on policy and market readiness
- Develop offtake, financing and investor engagement strategies to help projects reach bankability




- Prepare business cases, investment memoranda and board level materials
- Manage client relationships and workstream delivery with senior oversight

Required Experience:

- Background in strategy consulting with solid problem solving and modelling skills, or
- Background in financial modelling for transactions, project finance or investment analysis
- Demonstrated experience leading workstreams and managing stakeholders independently
- Genuine interest in sustainability, energy transition or energy policy strongly regarded
- Consulting style experience within the energy sector valued above general energy exposure
- Big 4, tier one and a half or boutique advisory experience considered, MBB not required

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, commerce or public policy
- Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA an advantage
- Financial modelling or valuation credentials such as a CFA viewed favourably
