We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead our NSW Engineering Team and play a key role in shaping the future of temporary works engineering at Acrow. This is an prospect to combine technical excellence with people leadership, influencing project outcomes across some of Australia's most complex and high-profile construction projects.
Skills in AutoCAD (2D), Revit are beneficial although not essential. Experience with modelling packages such as Space Gass (or similar) also beneficial.
The role can be based in any of our offices, or fully remote options can be discussed with the right candidate.
The key responsibilities include:
· Leading and developing the NSW engineering team
· Managing engineering priorities across a diverse project portfolio
· Collaborating closely with sales and operational teams to deliver practical and commercially effective solutions
· Reviewing, checking and certifying engineering designs
· Ensuring the highest standards of engineering quality, safety and compliance
· Driving continuous improvement within engineering processes and systems
Essential requirements:
· Degree-qualified Structural or Civil Engineer
· CPEng accreditation, or a clear pathway towards achieving it
· Strong experience in temporary works design, particularly formwork systems
· Sound understanding of structural analysis and design software
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· A commitment to technical excellence and quality
· A collaborative leadership style and genuine desire to develop others
