Pioneer Village, operated by the Eyre Peninsula Old Folks Home Inc, is located in picturesque Port Lincoln with a wonderful and relaxed country lifestyle. We are a community based 66-bed residential aged care facility situated at the southern tip of Eyre Peninsula in Port Lincoln, South Australia. As a primary provider of residential care and dementia services for the aged of the Southern Eyre Peninsula, we provide quality care and services to our clients in a manner that maintains and respects their individuality and dignity.

The Role

We are seeking passionate Enrolled Nurses (ENs)



to join our team as a casual employee. You will play an essential role in ensuring resident wellbeing through, support, health promotion, chronic disease management and prevention of illness by providing care and information to all of our residents. This is a Casual Position, so you must live near Port Lincoln or be willing to relocate to Port Lincoln.

Duties

- Provide care to elderly residents
- Observe and record patient healthcare problems and behaviour
- Liaise with medical professionals
- Medication management
- Wound management and review

Skills and Experience

- AHPRA Registration as an EN is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Emotional intelligence
- Professional work ethics
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
- Previous aged care work - highly regarded
