Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business based in Heidelberg West and is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Wash Room Operator to join their team on an ongoing basis.

About the Role
As a Wash Room Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining hygiene and food safety standards within a busy production environment. This position requires attention to detail, a robust work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash tubs, trays, and production equipment using industrial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods
- Ensure all cleaned items meet strict food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Perform repetitive handling and lifting of lightweight tubs and equipment throughout the shift
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the washroom and surrounding work areas
- Manage daily cleaning schedules and workload requirements with minimal supervision
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Report any damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or hygiene issues to supervisors
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a washroom, cleaning, food manufacturing, warehousing, or similar production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and food safety standards
- The physical fitness required for repetitive lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods
- A reliable and punctual work ethic
- The ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Good organisational and time management skills
