MicroEd Computers has been supporting home users and businesses throughout the Caboolture region for over 40 years. We provide a broad range of IT services, from computer repairs and managed services to cloud solutions, networking, and business communications.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Entry Level IT Technician to join our friendly and experienced team.
The Role
This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same. You will work with both residential and business clients, providing technical support and assisting with a wide variety of IT solutions.
Responsibilities include
- Help Desk
- Answering Calls
- Server, Desktop and laptop setup, maintenance and repair
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
- Primarily Remote work but some Onsite work
- Microsoft 365 administration and support
- Network, Wi-Fi and internet troubleshooting
- Maintaining managed services clients
- Equipment installation and upgrades
- Documentation and ticket management
- Learning and assisting with cloud, server and communications solutions

- Is organised and able to manage their time effectively
- Communicates well with both technical and non-technical customers
- Is eager to learn and develop new skills
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Holds a current driver's licence
Bonus Skills (Not Essential) Experience or exposure to any of the following would be advantageous:
- 3CX or Yeastar phone systems
- Audio Visual (AV) systems
- Managed IT Services environments
