About the role The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is looking for talented and motivated Environmental Professionals to join our talent pool for current and future opportunities. We welcome applications from professionals with experience across a broad range of environmental disciplines, including environmental planning and approvals, impact assessment, environmental offsets and management of natural areas, Aboriginal heritage, ecology, noise and vibration, groundwater management, environmental management systems, and environmental compliance and advisory services during the delivery of infrastructure and development projects.

In these roles, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to some of Western Australia's most significant public transport infrastructure projects. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, government agencies, Traditional Owners and community stakeholders, you'll provide environmental advice, support approvals and compliance processes, undertake assessments and investigations, and help deliver projects that balance environmental responsibility with community and transport needs. Your work will directly contribute to building a more sustainable and connected future for Western Australians.

About You!

To excel in these roles, you should possess:

- A degree qualification in Environmental Science,



Environmental Management or related disciplines.
- Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Well-developed research and evaluation skills, including the ability to analyse information and prepare reports relating to the findings.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and meet agreed timeframes.

There are currently two full-time opportunities available. Part-time arrangements may be considered for the right applicant. One role is a permanent appointment and the other is a fixed term appointment to 30 June 2029 with the possibility of renewal and/or permanency.

This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months.

To be eligible to work at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visa until 30/06/2029.
