EPC Project Manager | BESS & Renewable Energy Open to All Australia | Up To AU$220,000 + Super | Hybird About The Company Our client is a global energy storage technology company developing advanced battery systems and integrated energy storage solutions.

The business combines battery technology with customised energy storage systems and is continuing to expand its Australian presence through the delivery of utility-scale BESS projects.

About The Role We are seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery across major energy storage projects in Australia.

You will manage projects from contract execution through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and final customer handover, taking ownership of schedule, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder coordination.

The position reports directly to the Australia Project Director.

Key Responsibilities EPC Project Delivery

- Lead end-to-end delivery of utility-scale BESS projects from contract award through to handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource requirements and delivery priorities.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics, construction and commissioning activities.
- Ensure project milestones and contractual delivery requirements are achieved.

Project Controls & Risk

- Manage project cost, schedule, quality and overall delivery performance.
- Identify commercial, technical and delivery risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Monitor KPIs and provide clear project progress reporting.
- Resolve project issues across engineering, logistics, contractors and site delivery.

Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate customers,



EPC partners, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
- Maintain effective communication across cross-functional and cross-cultural stakeholders.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with relevant Australian safety, regulatory and site requirements.
- Provide project delivery insights to support new Australian BESS opportunities.

Skills & Experience

- Approximately 5+ years of project management experience with robust end-to-end EPC delivery exposure.
- Experience within BESS, renewable energy, power, infrastructure or another complex project environment.
- Solid knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project handover.
- Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, quality and risk.
- Strong contractor, customer and stakeholder management capability.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Australian project delivery environment.
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Chinese language capability would be advantageous but is not essential.
