Equity Research Analyst — ASX Small & Mid-Cap (Resources & Emerging Companies)

Our client is boutique independent equity research and corporate advisory firm providing institutional-grade research coverage, with a particular focus on ASX-listed small and mid-cap companies across the resources and emerging companies sectors. The firm connects the companies it covers with a broad base of investors, and its research is used by members with a genuine track record of acting on its recommendations.

As the team grows, they're looking to add an Analyst with around 1–2 years' relevant experience to the research bench.

What you'll be doing:

- Building and maintaining financial models for ASX-listed small and mid-cap companies
- Conducting company and industry analysis across the resources and emerging companies sectors
- Writing institutional-quality research notes and reports for distribution to investors
- Supporting corporate advisory work,



including engagement with management teams of covered companies
- Contributing to the firm's broader research process and coverage universe

What we're looking for:

- Around 1–3 years' experience in equity research, investment research, financial analysis, M&A;, Corporate finance, corporate valuations
- Strong financial modelling skills, with the ability to build and interrogate models independently
- Solid company and industry analysis capability
- Excellent written communication — you can turn analysis into explicit, well-structured research notes
- An interest in ASX small and mid-cap markets, particularly resources and emerging companies
