EarthScience Information Systems (EScIS) is an established scientific software company that is focused on producing a great user experience and quality scientific software that helps scientists and engineers understand and monitor their environment.
Our ESdat environmental data management software has a large and growing word-wide userbase.
YOUR ROLE
Client Support, Training and Engagement:
- Be a main point of contact for an allocation of our clients and take ownership for improving their ESdat Usage.
- Liaise with clients to understand their challenges, current usage, and to advise on improvements.
- Provide online or onsite ESdat training.
- Support our clients as needed.
- Individual and client wide group communications.
Generation of Best Practice materials to support our users:
- Production of training, support and similar resources.
- Develop pro-forma best practice resources for common scenarios.
- Compile and create content or case studies related to best practice implementations of the ESdat software.
Promote our software and services:
- Provide technical demos of the ESdat software or extensions to existing clients, prospects or industry.
- Communications via articles or social media.
- Attendance at industry events (including conferences) to promote our software and expertise.
Team Collaboration
- Daily collaboration will be held with individual team members.
- If located in Sydney working from office 2 days per week or as agreed.
- Regular team meetings are held online on a weekly schedule.
- In-person team meetings are held 2-3 times a year in Ballina/Byron Bay.
What you will bring to the role:
- A passion for working with geo-environmental data, sharing knowledge with others and driving best practice.
- Practical experience in using ESdat for environmental data management.
- Experience in or familiarity with at least two of the following sectors: Mining, Consulting, Government, Industry or Landfill.
- A demonstrated history of successfully driving improvements and change.
- Experience in managing projects.
- Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, Geology, Geospatial or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
