We are a well-established property maintenance business servicing real estate agencies throughout South East Queensland. We specialise in general property maintenance, repairs and smaller projects. We are not a full renovation company – our work is predominantly maintenance, repairs and property upkeep.
About the role
You will be responsible for assessing maintenance requests and preparing accurate quotes for our clients. This is a role that requires someone who can think practically and understand how things are built, rather than simply putting numbers into a computer.
Your day to day will include:
- Reviewing maintenance requests, photos and scopes of work within our Licence Scope
- Attending properties to assess works and determining the correct method and materials required
- Estimating small to large quote requests and preparing accurate and competitive quotes
- Sourcing and pricing materials and project requirements to ensure quotes are accurate
- Communicating with Key stakeholders regarding quotes and job requirements
- Ensuring quotes are completed and returned within required timeframes
- Following up outstanding quote information where required
- Identifying additional works or potential issues while onsite
- Entering and maintaining accurate information within our job management system
- Working directly with the Manager to drive company growth
What we expect from you:
- Good experience and knowledge of residential property maintenance and repairs
- Previous experience in carpentry, maintenance, building or a similar trade
- Robust computer skills and confidence using job management systems (all quotes are sent electronically)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of materials, labour requirements and construction methods
- The ability to source and accurately price materials
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to manage priorities
- A current manual driver's licence
