Cru Bar & Cellar has been a cornerstone of the James St precinct for over two decades, celebrated for our extensive award-winning wine list, elevated dining and loyal clientele. We are seeking a refined, highly capable Section Waiter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standards workplace. Ideally, the candidate would be here long-term and have room to grow within the business. To find a candidate who fits the ideal criteria, we are offering a Level 3 award rate.
Requirements
- You must be a strong team player, creative and self-motivated
- You have an outgoing personality, an enthusiastic and positive attitude and loads of initiative
- Experience working in a busy, fast-paced bar or restaurant, or other quality venue in a hands-on customer-facing role
- Excellent attention to detail
- High standard of personal hygiene and professional presentation
- Knowledge of current food and beverage, premium wines and liquor
- Have a passion for the industry and never settle for the mediocre
- Two years' experience in a busy restaurant environment and wine knowledge are preferred,
although plenty of training will be given to the right candidates
- Be able to look after the Private Dining Room with confidence, including hosting winemakers and high-end clientele
- Have a valid RSA
