Join NQ Dry Tropics and play a key role in building strong partnerships with Traditional Owners, Ranger groups and communities to support Caring for Country and natural resource management outcomes.
About the role
You will work across the Strategy & Partnerships team to:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with Traditional Owner organisations, Ranger groups and key stakeholders
- Support Traditional Owner engagement, consultation and Caring for Country planning
- Assist with workshops, funding opportunities and regional initiatives
- Contribute to reconciliation and Indigenous participation initiatives
- Support projects delivering positive environmental and community outcomes across the region
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone with strong communication and relationship-building skills, sound judgement, initiative and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse stakeholders.
Current Queensland Driver Licence required.
