About the Facility

Lee Aged Care is an intimate 27-bed home in the historic town of Blayney, NSW, offering a peaceful and close-knit setting. Single rooms with ensuites, landscaped gardens and a personalised approach to care make it ideal for residents who value familiarity and relationships.
We are looking for Kitchen Hand to join our aged care team at Lee Aged Care, in a Casual capacity.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Hand, you will play an key role behind the scenes, helping ensure our residents enjoy safe, nutritious, and well-presented meals every day. Your work will directly support the comfort and wellbeing of those in our care. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and being part of a supportive team.

What You Will Be Doing

- Assist with basic food preparation including washing, peeling, and plating
- Support meal service and ensure timely delivery of food to residents
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including dishes, utensils, and equipment




- Follow food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards at all times
- Assist with stock rotation, storage, and kitchen organisation
- Work closely with cooks and chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

What You Will Bring

- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting (preferred but not essential)
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and reliability
- A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
- Understanding of food safety practices (or willingness to obtain certification)
