​The Opportunity

​We are seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis.

​We are deliberately structuring this role to be highly flexible. It is perfectly suited for:

- ​Parents returning to the workforce after parental leave or an extended career break, looking for a school-hours-friendly schedule.
- Experienced practitioners looking to ease back or scale down (semi-retirement), wanting to keep their mind sharp and legal skills active without the stress of full-time practice management.
- Solicitors who enjoy practising family law but are looking for a part-time role without the demands and commitment of full-time practice.

As Lexford Law continues to grow,



there is also the prospect for this role to develop into full-time work in the future, for the right person. ​What We Offer

​About You ​We care far more about your capability, empathy, and cultural fit than an unbroken resume.

Ideally, you will have:

- ​An admission as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of QLD (with a current, or eligible to hold a current, Practising Certificate).
- ​Solid prior experience practicing in Family Law.
- ​Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to helping clients navigating tough times.
- ​The desire to do great legal work while maintaining your lifestyle.
