Female Disability Support Worker | Belrose

Regular weekday afternoons | 3:00pm–6:00pm | Additional hours available

True Direction Supports is looking for a small team of reliable and caring female support workers to support a 19-year-old young man in Belrose.

The regular shifts are 3:00pm–6:00pm Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for additional hours supporting other TDS participants for the right person.

He is non-verbal and has complex support needs, so we’re looking for someone patient and observant who will take the time to get to know him, understand his communication cues and become a familiar and consistent part of his routine.

The role includes

Picking him up from his day program and driving him home

Supporting his afternoon routine, meals and activities

Full personal care including showering, dressing and continence care

Mobility and wheelchair support when required

Monitoring and responding appropriately to absence seizures

Learning to recognise his individual signs of pain, discomfort or distress

Working closely with his family and following established routines

Who we’re looking for

Someone who is calm, caring,



reliable and genuinely attentive.

Experience with complex disability, personal care, non-verbal communication or seizures is highly regarded, but finding the right person is equally key.

You will need to be comfortable providing full personal care, confident driving and able to commit consistently to regular afternoon shifts.

Applicants living within approximately 20km of Belrose are preferred due to the short shifts and importance of reliable day-program collection.

Relevant NDIS worker requirements/checks and a current driver’s licence are required.
