We are seeking a Board Member – Philanthropy & Fundraising to join the Fernbrook School Board. This key voluntary governance role focuses on unlocking the resources, relationships, and major funding required to execute our unique strategic vision and approach to education. This position will play a crucial role in enacting our school master plan.

If you are a senior leader, fundraiser, or philanthropist with a passion for education and a solid network, this is an opportunity to build a lasting legacy for a school community that holds space for student wellbeing, cultivates sustainability education and transforms the trajectory of students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and refine the school’s strategic fundraising and philanthropic framework.
- Identify and initiate high-impact philanthropic and grant funding applications.
- Facilitate high-level meetings between major funders, corporate partners, and school leadership.




- Drive the capital generation strategy essential to realising our Master Plan.

- Proven track record in major gift fundraising, corporate partnerships, or capital campaigns.
- An established network across philanthropic foundations, alumni bodies, or grant-giving entities.
- High-level stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
