- Lead our end-to-end mobile diesel maintenance operation, overseeing technician scheduling, field support, parts coordination, customer communication, safety compliance and job delivery.
- Earn $120,000–$145,000+ + 12% superannuation (we'll pay the best for the best!).
- Permanent full-time position with genuine long-term job security in a growing family-owned business.
- Monday to Friday role with no weekend work, no FIFO, no overnight travel, no interstate travel and no on-call roster. We genuinely value work-life balance because life's too short to miss out on family, holidays and the things that matter most.
- Weekly pay (because your money belongs with you!).
- Company phone, laptop and any additional equipment you need to work comfortably and efficiently.
- Full uniform kit supplied, including uniforms, PPE, work boots and SafeStyle sunnies.
- Work alongside an epic crew where loyalty matters, hard work is recognised, no one gets left behind and everyone brings a "Go Hard or Go Home" attitude.

- Ongoing leadership development and genuine opportunities to grow as our business continues to expand.

- Quarterly team events on company time, including golf days, clay target shooting, BBQs, pub lunches and whatever the team votes for next.

WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL LOOK LIKE As our Field Service Supervisor, you'll be the link between our field technicians, customers and office team, ensuring every job runs safely, efficiently and to the high standards Reid Diesel Services is known for.

This is a genuine hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate day-to-day field operations, mentor technicians and provide technical support whenever required. While your primary focus will be leading the operation, you'll also have the flexibility to jump on the tools when needed.

No two days are the same. One day you could be coordinating multiple breakdowns across Southeast Queensland, the next you'll be helping diagnose a complex machine fault, supporting technicians onsite, meeting with customers to discuss preventative maintenance or planning the week's workload.

You'll work alongside an experienced team servicing premium OEM equipment including Komatsu, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Kobelco, Volvo, Terex Finlay, John Deere, Isuzu, Mack, Scania and more. You'll support customers including Boral, Holcim, The Neilsen Group, Killard Infrastructure, Earth Solutions Group (ESG) and many more.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Working closely with our administration team to respond to customer enquiries and deliver professional, solutions-focused service.
- Coordinating breakdowns, scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs, ensuring work is prioritised and allocated based on urgency, technician capability, availability and location.
- Coordinating parts procurement and materials to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and with minimal downtime.
- Providing day-to-day leadership, technical support and mentoring to our Field Service Technicians while fostering a positive, high-performance team culture.
- Monitoring job progress to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the high standards Reid Diesel Services is known for.
- Reviewing completed jobs, timesheets, ServiceM8 records, SWMS, Take 5s and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance, while supporting the administration team with invoicing, job records and documentation to enable timely and accurate billing.

- Conducting quality audits and promoting continuous improvement to deliver exceptional workmanship, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, fleet managers, contractors and suppliers.
- Supporting estimating, preventative maintenance planning, recruitment, onboarding and the ongoing development of our technicians.
- Identifying and resolving scheduling, operational and customer service issues before they become larger problems, escalating matters where required and working with management to implement practical solutions.
- Leading by example and helping strengthen our positive "Go Hard or Go Home" culture.

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) with extensive experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment, heavy vehicles and mobile plant.
- Previous experience leading, supervising or mentoring technicians in a field service environment, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with the confidence to support technicians on complex repairs and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Experience coordinating field service operations, scheduling work and managing competing priorities, with robust organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong systems and administration skills, including ServiceM8, Microsoft Office, and reviewing job documentation, labour, parts, timesheets and invoices for accuracy.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers, suppliers and your team.
- A proactive, honest and accountable leader who leads by example, thinks ahead, remains calm under pressure and embraces our "Go Hard or Go Home" culture.
- Current driver's licence (essential) and White Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, National Police Check and Drug & Alcohol screening where required.
- A genuine commitment to safety, quality workmanship and delivering exceptional customer service.

THIS ROLE IS PERFECT FOR SOMEONE WHO...

- Loves leading people and building high-performing teams.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems.
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and quality workmanship.
- Wants to play a key role in the continued growth of Reid Diesel Services.
