Finance Manager – Aged Care & Home Care

Full-time | Applecross, WA Companion Home Care is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial performance, compliance, and sustainability of a growing in-home aged care business.

This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for delivering robust financial governance, commercial insights, and regulatory compliance across Home Care Packages and Support at Home services. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be a key strategic partner supporting business performance, growth, and risk management.

The Opportunity

You will own the end-to-end finance function, providing high-quality financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making while ensuring strong controls across funding, payroll, and aged care compliance.

Key focus areas include

- Financial management, reporting, and commercial analysis
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow optimisation
- Aged care financial and prudential compliance
- Payroll oversight under the SCHADS Award
- Audit coordination, risk management, and governance
- Finance systems optimisation and process improvement

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver accurate monthly Board reporting, forecasts, and cash flow analysis
- Lead annual budgets and rolling forecasts, analysing performance and variances




- Ensure profitability and cost control across in-home care services
- Oversee aged care financial reporting, client budgets, subsidies, and unspent funds
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and manage external audits
- Oversee payroll compliance, statutory reporting, and financial controls
- Drive system improvements across finance and care management platforms
- Lead and develop the finance team and partner with senior leaders

About You

You are a commercially focused finance professional with solid technical capability and aged care experience.

You will bring

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior finance role
- Proven experience in Home Care Package / Support at Home financial management
- Strong understanding of aged care funding, pricing, and compliance
- Advanced financial analysis, reporting, and governance skills
- Confident stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
