Your new company An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established and iconic Victorian organisation based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs in Belgrave. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the organisation's financial sustainability, governance and strategic objectives while leading a small finance team across accounting, payroll and transactional finance functions.

Your new role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end finance function and delivering accurate, timely and insightful financial information to support organisational performance. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide strategic financial advice while ensuring robust financial management practices are maintained.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions.
- Managing annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Preparing monthly management reports, Board reports and financial submissions.
- Managing year-end financial statements and external audit processes.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with statutory, regulatory and accounting requirements.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role,



you will be a commercially minded finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise and proven leadership capabilities.

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- CA, CPA or equivalent skilled accounting qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior finance leadership or management position.
- Experience managing audit processes and statutory compliance requirements.
- Previous experience within government, not-for-profit, tourism or similarly complex operational environments will be highly regarded.
