About the role

Wilson Select is a specialist executive search and recruitment firm, delivering for financial services clients for well over a decade. We work with select clients to find the people who'll shape their next chapter, and this search is one of them. We have a client, a profitable, 50-year-old privately owned financial services group based in Brisbane, growing quick across digital assets, funds management and vault custody.

As the business matures from a family-office structure into a corporate-led group, they're bringing in a Finance Manager to build the function that matches where it's headed. This is a hands-on seat, reporting to the CFO and working closely with the CEO and the current financial controller.

Job Function

- Own month-end, quarter-end and year-end close across multiple entities
- Budgeting and rolling forecasts
- Statutory tax compliance (BAS, GST, FBT, income tax)
- Daily cash and treasury
- Lead a team of four: a Management Accountant,



a Financial Accountant, a Finance Systems Lead and an Accounts Officer

What we're looking for

- CA/CPA qualified, with genuine hands-on experience running a finance function
- Track record of streamlining month-end close through process and automation
- Power BI or similar reporting experience
- Experience building the controls and documentation that let a finance function scale
- Comfortable across multiple entities with a working appreciation of tax
- A genuine mentor and coach
