ANZUK Education is proud to be partnering with a well-established early learning provider in Melbourne's eastern suburbs to recruit an experienced Centre Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, outgoing, and commercially minded leader to become the face of a growing early learning service.

Unlike traditional Centre Manager roles, this position has a strong focus on community engagement, family relationships, and occupancy growth, with the day-to-day operational and educational functions supported by an experienced Centre Director and 2IC.

About the Role This role is ideal for someone who loves building relationships, networking within the local community, and creating meaningful connections with families.

As the Centre Manager your primary focus will be driving occupancy growth, increasing the centre's profile within the local area, and delivering an exceptional experience for prospective and existing families. You will play a key part in developing community partnerships and ensuring the service is recognised as a leading choice for families.

With a strong leadership team in place managing the day-to-day operations and educational program, you will have the opportunity to focus your energy on business growth, family engagement, and community presence.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive occupancy growth through community engagement and relationship-building initiatives.
- Act as the face of the centre within the local community.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing families.
- Lead centre tours and create outstanding first impressions for new families.
- Develop partnerships with local schools, businesses, sporting clubs, and community groups.
- Attend local networking and community events to increase centre visibility.
- Support enquiry conversion and enrolment growth strategies.
- Work closely with the Centre Director and leadership team to achieve growth targets.
- Promote a positive centre culture and strong family experience.
- Monitor occupancy performance and implement strategies to support ongoing growth.

About You

- Previous leadership experience within the Early Childhood sector.
- Proven ability to build relationships and engage with families and the broader community.
- Experience driving enrolments, occupancy growth, or business development is highly regarded.
- Solid communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- A proactive, energetic, and results-driven approach.
- Passion for creating positive experiences for children, families, and staff.
- Sound understanding of the Early Childhood sector and what families value when choosing a service.
