Disability/Mental Health Support Workers Wanted in Kalimna

As a Support Worker with Attainable Care, you will deliver a range of services to NDIS participants. You will provide personalized support and assistance focusing on individual needs, goals, and preferences, develop and maintain robust relationships with participants and their families, and implement individualized support plans while promoting independence and social inclusion.

Start as soon as possible and enjoy a competitive pay rate of $36-42 per hour (subject to experience and qualifications), with penalty rates for evening, weekend, and overtime shifts. You'll also receive $1.01 per km between shifts (terms and conditions apply).

As a Support Worker with Attainable Care, you will deliver a range of services, including but not limited to:

Provide personalized support and assistance to NDIS participants, focusing on their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Implement and regularly review individualized support plans, adjusting strategies as required to promote participants' progress and well-being.

Assist with daily living activities, personal care, skill development, and community participation, promoting independence and social inclusion.

Monitor and report on participants' progress and any changes in their needs,



ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Adhere to all relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

About you

Current NDIS Worker check, Police Check, and Working with Children's Check

Certificate of NDIS Worker Orientation Program

Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification

Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable car

Minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field

Experience working with people with mental health disability and challenging behaviour

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the NDIS framework

Ability to provide 2 current/recent work-related references

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients

Compassionate, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting individuals with disabilities

Private staff room provided for sleepover shifts

Penalty rates for evening, weekend, and overtime shifts
