Are you passionate about cars and enjoy hands-on work? We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Vehicle Yard Hand / Catalogue Assistant to join a busy automotive operation in Belmore. This varied role combines vehicle handling, stock management, photography, customer service, and yard operations.
About the Role
- Catalogue incoming vehicle stock, including recording vehicle features and any existing damage.
- Photograph vehicles and upload details accurately within required timeframes.
- Assist with unloading vehicles from tow trucks as they arrive.
- Load sold vehicles onto transport trucks and assist with vehicle deliveries.
- Move vehicles around the yard in preparation for auctions and sales events.
- Provide outstanding customer service to vendors and buyers.
- Follow all WHS policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure smooth branch operations.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for cars or experience within the automotive, transport,
or auction industry highly regarded.
- Current and valid Manual Driver's Licence (essential).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use an iPad.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
