Role Description The Financial Analyst (Entry-Level) role is a part-time hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with a combination of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with financial data collection, preparing basic financial reports, and helping analyze trends related to revenue, expenses, and profitability. The role supports financial planning activities, such as budgeting and forecasting, and contributes to the maintenance and review of financial statements.
The Financial
Analyst collaborates with senior finance team members to ensure accurate reporting, supports internal stakeholders with financial insights, and helps improve processes that strengthen financial controls and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Financial Planning to support budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide clear,
data-driven insights.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to assist with the preparation and review of financial documents.
- Candidates should have proficiency with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or similar), including formulas and basic modeling.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should have effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should ideally hold or be pursuing a degree or qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with accounting or ERP software and an interest in the restoration or service industry are beneficial.
