? Financial Analyst (Hybrid, Entry-Level)

? About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst (Hybrid, Entry-Level) to join our finance team ?

In this role, you’ll support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business performance analysis. You’ll work closely with finance and business teams to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights that support effective decision-making. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals to build practical experience in financial analysis ?

? Key Responsibilities

- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis ?
- Collect, organise, validate, and analyse financial and business data
- Prepare financial models, reports, dashboards, and management summaries
- Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability, and business performance
- Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis
- Investigate differences between actual results, budgets, and forecasts ?
- Support cash-flow analysis and financial planning activities
- Maintain accurate financial models, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation
- Assist with management reporting and business presentations
- Identify financial trends and provide insights to support business decisions
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, operations, and business teams
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
- Assist with process improvements and reporting automation
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial information ?

- Strong analytical, numerical,



and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyse financial data and communicate findings clearly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn ?
- Genuine interest in finance, business performance, and financial analysis

? Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Commerce, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred)
- Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply ?
- Previous internship, academic project, accounting, finance, or data-analysis experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, SQL, financial modelling, or business intelligence tools is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis is preferred
- Knowledge of Australian finance and accounting practices is an advantage
