The Financial Planning/ Customer Service Assistant is to perform all job functions listed below to contribute to the smooth operation of the office. The role will include providing support where required to the Operations Manager, Advice Production Manager, Financial Planners, and other staff in the office. If you goal is become a Financial Planner in the future and you have commenced or thinking about starting your studies – this could be the role for you
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with answering incoming calls - required to resolve issues where able to in a timely manner or refer to appropriate team member
- Client interaction - meet and greet clients upon entry at office and seminars
- Assist Planners in making of appointments as required
- Implementation of Client Value Proposition
- Lodgement of new business
- Scanning of documents
- CRM management – managing rollovers, withdrawal requests,
maturities, campaigns, urgent client statements, welcome letters, delinks, etc.
- Follow up of outstanding rollovers/insurance/withdrawals
- Campaigns – request listings from client database
- Assist with seminars and functions
- Maintenance of Client Database
Competencies and experience:
- Ideally 2 to 3 years’ experience
- ability to work under limited supervision
- administration experience preferred
- positive time management
- exposure to some financial planning
